「パフォーマンスを学ぶという経験」

登壇者：Stilllive、高山明（ゲスト）

​

演出家・アーティストの高山明をゲストとして招き、前半ではアートと教育をめぐる高山のプラットフォーム活動を紹介してもらう。後半のラウンドテーブルでは、学校、コミュニティ、子育て、生きること自体の、それぞれのパフォーマンスの位置付けは違えど、自ら学ぶ、学んできた経験をシェアできるパフォーマンスプラットフォームの可能性について話し合う。

①「マダン劇入門」

8月2日 (水) 18:30-21:00

ファシリテーター：権祥海、遠藤麻衣

​「マダン劇」は、韓国の民衆運動の一環として現れた上演形式であり、日本でも在日コミュニティを中心にマダン劇運動が展開されました。本プログラムでは「マダン劇」に関するレクチャー、テキストの朗読からなる体験ワークショップによって、「マダン劇」が体現してきた共同体の歴史に触れます。

②「ZINEはここ」予約不要、自由参加

8月4日 (金) 12:00-19:00

Artist: Ima Hikmatul Hasnah (Performance Lab)

『ZINE はここ』is a project designed to express oneself, record memories, depict imagination, or pour out ideas about unique, strange, or everyday things that people can find 'here.' The project takes the form of an open workshop, where a designated space will be equipped with tools and materials, and each participant can freely create their own zine using these resources. The zines submitted in the previous workshops will also be showcased at the same location. Similarly, all the zines created in this current workshop will be copied and exhibited in the next zine workshop. Meanwhile, the original zine creations will be archived and compiled into an archive handmade book.

③「かざぐるま -pinwheel- (Performance)」予約不要、自由参加

I am always thinking about… when someone tells something to me, I wish I remembered not only the words but also the wind blowing around the words. Trying to recall the word we talked together and talk the word once again, We try to experience the time we had spent through the performance.

目の前で誰かが語るとき、私はその言葉と言葉のまわりに吹く風を全て記憶できればといつも思う。私たちは、これまでに話された言葉をもう一度語り直すことで、これまでの私たちの時間を生き直すことをパフォーマンスの中で試みる。

④ パフォーマンスワークショップ「Stilllive Session Studies」

8月5日 (土) 11:00-15:00

ファシリテーター：小林勇輝、吉田拓

Stillliveは複数のアーティストによる即興的なパフォーマンス・セッションを何度も行ってきました。パフォーマティブな空間は、身体が別の何か（ひと/ものetc）と出会うことで相互に変化する契機に満ちています。本ワークショップでは2人のアーティストをファシリテーターとして、他者と関係し変化するパフォーマンスを体験していただきます。小林勇輝による「パフォーマンス・マテリアリティ」では、物と身体の出会いから生まれる、様々な感覚や情報を丁寧に捉えながらパフォーマンスへ接続することを実践します。吉田拓による「ダイアローグ・コレオグラフィ」では、参加者同士で対話しながら、互いに振付し合うことを試みます。2つのワークショップを経て、最後に実際にパフォーマンスを行います。パフォーマンスやダンスは未経験の方も、この機会にぜひご参加ください。

⑤「Generated Alien (Research Collecting Data) 」​予約不要、自由参加

Artists: Jini x Lea (Performance Lab)

Generated Alien is a 3 day project through which artists Jini and Lea attempt to deconstruct the alien existence called "woman" created through the male-dominated field of digital media and artificial intelligence. The first two parts will allow visitors to peek into the process of creating and organizing a performative project and also participate with feedback and commentary. On the first day the artists will conduct research which will consist of gathering data in the form of AI generated imagery.

⑥「Alien Superstar」

Artists: Cléo Verstrepen, Simon Erin (Satō Madjo), Dj Sho-chan 
Alien Superstar is a performative workshop and reading club centered around the theme of make-up and dressing as transformative and empowering practices. Dancer and drag queen Simon Erin (Sato Madjo), curator and researcher Cleo Verstrepen and Dj Sho-chan invite the participants to join an intimate and festive moment of intellectual engagement, collective care, and bodily connections.

⑦「Generated Alien (Printing/Setting/Preparation)」予約不要、自由参加

8月11日 (金) 11:00-15:00

Artists: Jini x Lea (Performance Lab)

Second day of the project will consist of printing the collected data and arranging it into a grid. Thus bringing the generated beings into a palpable form and creating a visual representation of a woman as seen through artificial intelligence which excludes queerness- in consequence queer women, trans women, and all marginalized beings are taking on the role of an alien. This day the audience will have opportunities to compare and contrast the generated reality to their own vision and give thoughts and feedback to the artists.

⑧「田中堅大＋境佑梨「都市の音を通したコレオグラフィ」」

8月16日 (水) 12:30-17:30

ファシリテーター：田中堅大、境佑梨

本ワークショップでは、都市の音を主題に、身体的に都市のリズムを捉え、パフォーマンスやインスタレーションへと昇華する過程を体験します。ワークショップは2部構成であり、①概論レクチャー + フィールドレコーディング、②サウンドパフォーマンスに分かれています。概論では、シェーファーによって提唱された「サウンドスケープ理論」や、ルフェーブルによる「リズム分析」、音によあるアーバニズムなどの文脈を概論的に理解しつつ、実際に有楽町の環境音でのフィールドレコーディングを実施します。そのうえで、有楽町で採集された都市の音を素材に、有楽町の街路でパフォーマンスを行います。音楽経験・パフォーマンス経験不問、都市（の音）によって変わる身体の振る舞いに興味のある方の参加もお待ちしています。

⑨「ランダム防災訓練〜有楽町編〜」

8月17日 (木) 15:00-17:30

ゲスト：トモトシ、ファシリテーター：小宮りさ麻吏奈

アーティストのトモトシさんをお呼びして、有楽町を舞台に「ランダム防災訓練」を行います。過去の地層、歴史の断片などが見える場所を選んでのまち歩き中、iPhoneのアプリで無作為にアラームが鳴るたびに防災訓練（影に隠れる、近い建物内に入る、木に登る、伏せるなど）がスタートします。通常の防災訓練はいつ始まるか決まっていますが、いつ始まるかわからない状態でやってみます。「突然隠れなければいけない」という経験を通して、普段見えている有楽町とは違った景色が見えてきたら面白いとも思っています。どなたでも参加自由です。 ※外部での開催となりますので、各自熱中症対策をお願いします。 ※時間を測るためのスマホ、時計等があると便利です。 ※雨天決行（台風の場合は中止、各自で防災をしてください）

⑩「Extra Terrestrial Stand Up Comedy Workshop」

8月18日 (金) 15:00-17:30

Artist: Benjamin Korman (Performance Lab)

In this collaborative workshop, we will imagine creatures that do not possess human bodies, do not breathe oxygen-rich air, do not see, hear, taste, smell, or touch in the ways we do. Then we will ask: What do they find funny? What would they perform in a tight, five-minute stand-up comedy set? Finally, we will perform our alien stand-up comedy in front of other workshop participants and any other audience members who would like to join.

⑪「Generated Alien (Live Painting)」

8月21日 (月) 18:00-20:30

Artists: Jini x Lea (Performance Lab)

The last day of the "Generated Alien" project the artists will do a live painting session. The method of conducting this performance processing information mimics the way AI generates an image, but by adding personal experiences, personal biases, emotions, and other data and non-quantifiable elements to the work, the artists question how we can create and gaze upon an image of a woman.

⑫「HI-TO workshop」​

8月22日 (火) 18:30-21:00

ファシリテーター：MES

イギリス・ロンドンのVan Gogh Houseレジデンスで行った「HI-TOプロジェクト」の報告を交えつつ、これまで熱変化と身体を通して制作した作品シリーズのプレゼンテーションとワークショップ、カフェタイムを行います。ワークショップでは、熱変化を有する素材でドローイングを行い、サーマルカメラをとおしてそのストロークを可視化し、熱が身体や世界に与える変化について視覚的に考えます。(年齢制限なし、見る・聞くだけも可能、使用言語：日本語(一部資料は英語))

Facilitator: MES

The artist duo MES will hold a presentation, workshop, and café time on a series of works they have created through thermal change and the body, with a report on their "HI-TO Project" at the Van Gogh House Residence in London, UK. In the workshop, participants will make drawings with thermal materials and visualize their strokes with a thermal camera to think visually about the changes that heat makes on the body and the world. (No age limit, just watching and listening are welcome. Language: Japanese (some document in English. ))

⑬「Stilllive Studies：交流会プログラム」

8月23日（水）前半16:00-17:30 / 後半18:00-20:00

ゲスト：岩井のゑ、Per:Platform、モデレーター：小林勇輝

「Stilllive Studies：交流会プログラム」の前半では、ロンドンを拠点に活動しているパフォーマンスアーティスト・岩井のゑをゲストに迎え、のゑによる15分のパフォーマンスに引き続き、ロイヤル・カレッジ・オブ・アートでの授業内容や、現地でのパフォーマンスの動向などを過去の活動と共に傾聴する。また岩井のゑ・小林勇輝の双方がロイヤル・カレッジ・オブ・アートのパフォーマンス科を卒業している背景から、クロストークなどを交えてお互いの経験を語り合う。 後半では、香港を拠点として活動しているパフォーマンスプラットフォーム「Per.Platform」と、今回のStilllive参加メンバーとのオンライン交流会を観客に向け公開し、質疑応答や各アーティスト同士がプラットフォーム参加において意識していること、各地での認識の違いなどを話し合います。

⑭「Beyond Gender フランスMenetでのレジデンス報告」

8月24日（木）13:00-15:00

ゲスト：Leire de Meer、モデレーター：乾真裕子

2023/7/9〜7/31に行われたフランスMenetでのレジデンス報告会を行う。1時間ほどLeire de Meerのレクチャープレゼンがあり、その後、Menetの他世界各地で乾真裕子とLeire de Meerが共作してきたQueerturesという作品のプレゼンテーションを行う。(使用言語：主に英語(UDトークを使った翻訳付き))

＊Leire de Meer (they/them) is a Madrid based visual artist. Their work focuses on community building, queer embodiment and narrative fictioning. They use performance, bodily artistic experiences and video art to challenge our perception of ourselves and the cultures we are embedded in.

⑮「PEACH -Reprise-」

​2022年、香港にて佐野が行ったパフォーマンス「PEACH」の再演をし ます。23個の歳の数の桃を食べ続ける時間を共有して、表現者、鑑賞者自身の人生観や生死観と向き合う時間を試みます。

⑯「溝口彰子×小林勇輝×FAQ?」

8月25日（金）18:30-20:00

モデレーター：FAQ?

FAQ?は、先行世代から現在に続く日本のクィアアートのリサーチや上映会、トークイベント等の企画をこれまで行ってきました。 今回はゲストにクィア・ビジュアル・カルチャー・セオリスト溝口彰子さんを迎え、過去から現在にかけての日本のパフォーマンスシーンにおけるクィアなアーティストや表象、国内外の動向との連動についてお伺いします。Stilllive主催の小林勇輝さんも交え、現在のシーンと過去の接続および表象の歴史や変遷についてや、パフォーマンスというメディアの未来の可能性などについてもクロストーク形式で話します。

パフォーマンス・ショーイング

Stilllive2023 では、参加アーティストがそれぞれパフォーマンスを学ぶプログラムを企画する「Stilllive Studies」によって、プラットフォームとしての可能性を広げることを試みた。各アーティストは普段自ら携わる身体、都市、政治、ジェンダー、コミュニティなどのトピックを深掘りしながら、パフォーマンスを体感できる場を設けた。とくにYAU STUDIOでの6週間のレジデントアーティストとしての活動を通して、改めて都市における身体のあり方を問い直すワークショップや勉強会を実施し、Stilllive が蓄積してきた発表形式をさらに拡張することができた。パフォーマンスショーイングでは、参加者同士で「Stilllive Studies」での経験を踏まえ、これまでStillliveが実践してきたショーイングを行うことで、パフォーマンスの学び場としてのプラットフォームの姿を提示する。

Stilllive2023 attempted to expand its potential as a platform through "Stilllive Studies," in which each of the participating artists planned a program to study performance. Each artist was given the opportunity to experience performance while delving deeply into topics such as the body, the city, politics, gender, and community, in which they are usually involved. In particular, workshops and study sessions were held to reexamine the nature of the body in the city through the six-week residency at YAU STUDIO, further extending Stilllive's accumulated presentation format. In the performance showings, participants will build on their experiences in "Stilllive Studies" with each other, and present the platform as a learning platform for performance by performing the showings that Stilllive has been practicing so far.

Opening Talk ‘The Experience of Learning Performance’

Inviting director/artist Akira Takayama as a guest, the event will begin with an introduction to Takayama's platform activities around art and education. In the second half of the round table, we will discuss the possibility of performance platforms that allow people to share their own experiences of learning and having learned, even though each performance is positioned differently: school, community, parenting, and life itself.

① Madanggeuk Introduction

Lecturer: Sanghae Kwon, Mai Endo

Madanggeuk is a performance form that emerged as part of the Korean democratic movement, and the Madanggeuk movement was also developed in Japan, mainly in the Zainichi community. In this program, participants will experience the history of the community embodied by Madanggeuk through a hands-on workshop consisting of a lecture on Madanggeuk and a reading of the text.
